Day 2 - JHS Europe Trip - Winter 2025-2026

Our first full day in Rome began with a walking photography tour led by a local photographer. Our photography tour leader took us to an open air market where we took in the sights, sounds, and smells. The flowers, the pasta, the produce, etc. were amazing! 

Later in the afternoon, we met another local expert that took us to Trajan's Market, a large are of ancient Roman ruins. From there, she escorted us to the Colosseum where we explored the exterior of the Colosseum.

Following our tour of the Colosseum, we walked our way back to Piazza Navona where our group was given a few hours of free time to explore, get dinner, and find some gelato.

After a very long day, with the majority of our tour group working on only a few hours of sleep, we all headed back to our hotel.
